Chiang Mai Creative City encourages everybody to take action, work together, and help to develop and improve Chiang Mai. The Chiang Mai Creative City Development Committee functions as a think tank, network and sharing platform, and catalyst. Its members include to 50 representatives from universities, private sector companies and associations, and local and national government agencies. The Chiang Mai Creative City aims to develop and diversify Chiang Mai’s economy, create jobs and opportunities for people, businesses and next generations. There is a particular focus on creative industries, including IT, software, and digital content, but the concept also embraces urban, green and social development.
Chiang Mai Creative City is not a project – it is a long-term vision and initiative. We encourage participation.
